At the newly being created Truckee-Railroad History Museum

What would Truckee be like without the railroad?Come to Truckee Donner Historical Society's events throughout the summer celebrating 150 Years of the Transcontinental Railroad through Truckee and find out about Truckee's rich railroad history. Join the kickoff reception and ribbon cutting at the new Truckee Railroad Museum at Truckee Train Depot. Then Truckee Public Arts Commission will hold their Spring artists reception, celebrating all things railroad at Truckee Donner Rec & Parks Community Recreation Center from5:00 - 7:00 pm. Truckee's own Richard Blair will perform railroad songs at both events!
